I’m so pleased to announce that one of the pioneers in thinking about data and health is joining us here at The Data Guild. Jody brings more than two decades of global experience in public health, digital healthcare, and product innovation and strategy to the team.
Jody and I met more than a decade ago when he was at the Institute for the Future, when he led its global health practice. There, he pioneered new design thinking methods of helping global companies understand and respond to major trends and drivers and design products for the future. Since then, he’s led teams at the mHealth Alliance and InSTEDD, as well as consulting with Grameen Bank, the U.N., and the Institute of Medicine. He is currently the Co-Director of Digital Health for the TM Forum and an advisor to PwC on digital health as well as advises health plans and startups on strategy and innovation.
If you haven’t read his Connected Health: How Mobile Phones, Cloud and Big Data Will Reinvent Healthcare, I recommend it. Jody is also working on a second book on cooperation and digital health, due out later this year.
